Safari! This is an excellent choice for
Explorers with severe allergies.
As explained in our Safety Disclaimer, most
people (even those with allergies to dogs and
cats) with allergies tolerate our animals very
well. Most people who are allergic to cats or
dogs are actually allergic to a glycoprotein
found in that animal's dander. Chinchillas,
hedgehogs, sugar gliders, and the like do not
produce these same glycoproteins. None of our
animals are fed corn or peanut products. Some
people MAY have sensitivities such as hay, or
volcanic dust (not the same allergy as regular
dust - most people with "dust" allergies are
actually allergic to dust mites.) that, if
severe, could be triggered by the chinchilla.
However, we do not know every participant's
allergies!
If you have a child or guest with very severe
allergies, you may choose to ask us to leave
the mammals (chinchilla, sugar gliders, and
hedgehog) at home. Perhaps even the bugs (the
millipede and the Hissers, though we have never
encountered ANY allergies with either) you
might choose to have sit out. However, this
doesn't sound like a very fun party! We love
all our animals, including the reptiles and
amphibians, but whe don't have a LARGE
selection of the scaley guys. THEREFORE, if
due to medical concerns, you elect to have
this smaller, "less fuzzy" party, we suggest
you order a Creepy Crawly Craft Safari
instead!
For the same $50 (for up to 10 Explorers, $2 for each additional Explorer, not including favors.) that a regular Safari costs with ALL the animals, a Creepy Crawly Craft Safari includes the herps (reptiles and amphibians) plus TWO CRAFTS of YOUR CHOICE! That includes the crafts (Any 2: 1. wiggley wooden lizard 2. gecko suncatcher 3. scratch-off rainbow jungle animal ornament), AND the supplies (like Sun Catcher Markers, Wood Painting Markers, Magic Rainbow Scratch Styluses plus Handi-Wipes and such) so YOU aren't stuck with the mess!
Just to clarify: With the Creepy Crawly Craft Safari, the crafts are not extra. The time/supplies, and the crafts themselves are included in this Safari.
3. Take-a-Craft! Doing a Safari with Critters 2 Go ($50 for up to 10 Explorers, $2 for each additional Explorer, not including favors.) but want to add one (or more?!) of these crafts to your Explorers' Goodie Bags for that extra WOW?! You can do that! If you get a project to send home, your guests will get an extra fun souvineer to do at home. You will NOT have to pay the $15 for time/supplies. Your cost will be the price of your regular party, plus a price per piece. Wiggly Wooden Lizards are $2.00 per Explorer, Gecko Suncatchers are $1.00 per Explorer, and Scratch-off Rainbow Jungle Animal Ornaments are only 50¢ per Explorer. These can be done either in your home, with your own supplies* or sent home in goodie bags to be done at home (with THEIR own supplies).
*If you aren't getting Scratch-off Rainbow Jungle Animal Ornaments as an Add-a-Craft with a party (and therefore with us bringing supplies!) check with us if we have extra Scratch Styluses available to bring anyway. If possible if we can get them mailed/dropped off back to us, we can *sometimes* loan them for free. IF NOT, we recommend chopsticks or even popcicle sticks in a pinch!If you are having trouble tracking down your own supplies, check out our Amazon "store." We call it a store. It's really more of a link list to supplies you might want (for parties or pets) and where you can get them on Amazon. ;)

Want to do more than 1? Due to the health and safety of our animals (particularly the babies like the chinchilla and the hedgehog (feel free to ask us for clarification of USDA laws regarding shorter "performance" times for young animals), they can only be at a party for a limited amount of time.
Therefore, We can only allow 1 Add-a-Craft per party. HOWEVER, you are welcome to purchase additional crafts as a Take-a-Craft which can be done either in your home, with your own supplies, or sent home in goodie bags to be done at home.
